Thursday August 20, 2002-Rock in Rio hit's the shelves in the USA.
Yes! For those of you in America that have had to wait the extra weeks, your long wait is finally over as the band's Rock in Rio DVD and VHS is available today through Columbia.
You can now enjoy the full two hour concert and experience the 5.1 Surround Sound in your home that everyone else has been talking about. The DVD does also contain the bonus disk with all the band interviews included and hidden easter eggs.

The VHS is a single tape version with the Bonus Extras following the main concert program where other versions around the world had a two tape package.

The show has had fantastic reviews from both the music and film magazines around the world and has topped many DVD Music charts so get down to your local record store and find out what the world has been talking about.

Sorry for the lack of updates lately but, as you might know, I take most of the news from the official website, so if the offcial website isn´t updated it's pretty likely that this site remains the same. The only thing "new" at this site is that I added "Rock In Rio" and "Iron Maiden" cd's to the voting poll taking definetly out "Virtual XI" and "The X Factor". So if you want to vote for your favorite album just scroll down and go to the poll!. I'm also looking for new ideas to make a new voting poll, if something comes up to your mind please let me know

ROCK IN RIO DVD
The Double DVD and VHS is confirmed for release on Monday 10th June in PAL format.

However last minute production problems have forced delay of the NTSC version, resulting in the North American, South American, Australian and Japanese release being put back to 16th July. The delay is due to an audio problem during the concert footage which was detected once local plants had reached manufacturing and final test disks were sent for approval. The audio problem was enough to warrant the authoring of new masters which in turn has delayed the DVD pressing process.
The band regret the delay as they know it has been a long wait and hope that fans will understand that the subsequent technical delay and the decisions made were for the very best of quality reasons.
